The installation
Dalsoon is based on a Korean tale about the origin of the Moon, in which a rope connects earth and heaven. Coated metal cylinders are strung together into a slowly moving "rope", lit by shifting spotlights. The piece invites visitors to slow down and reflects on why people are drawn to the Moon.
Dalsoon was shown at Schemerlicht Festival in Goffertpark, Nijmegen, from 9 to 19 October 2025.

My role
I was the electronics and software engineer on Dalsoon: I designed the electronics and wrote the software that drive the motion and light.
